The Systems Analyst is responsible for assisting the Project Manager or other Information Systems Management in the design and implementation of corporate-wide systems, and for the complete design and implementation of systems.
Develop new information systems and revise existing systems and procedures as requirements change.
Confer with user management, department heads, and other management to analyze and document system needs.
Assist in presentation to ARH management and users implications of new applications.
Develop audit trails and balancing controls for applications.
Conduct feasibility studies; and evaluate alternative procedures.
Coordinate software changes with Manager of User Support and Operations to insure continuity of processing.
Define user requirements and translate requirements and all procedures necessary to maintain computer-related systems specifications.
May perform Programmer Analyst duties for complex programs.
Assist in the training and development of Application, Network and/or System personnel.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field so they can recommend new services, products and equipment.
Continue professional development by attending education programs designed for specialty areas.
Must be available to travel as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. Degree with at least four (4) years experience in programming and systems, or
Associate Degree in Computer Science with at least five (5) years experience in information systems, three (3) or which are in programming and systems, or
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience required, minimum of 3 years.
A total of eight (8) years experience in data processing, five (5) of which are in programming and systems.
Ability to train and guide technical personnel.
Ability to prepare oral and written presentations.
