Overview

The AVP Strategy Development and System Integration facilitates the annual strategic planning and integration process by ensuring organizational alignment with the strategic plan through the establishment and management of the ARH management system. The position is responsible for using the management system to help drive expected performance and improvement around the triple aim principal of financial, quality/safety and patient engagement outcomes.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.

 

Facilitate the annual strategic planning process from development through implementation and system integration.

 

Ensure key performance indicators (KPI) and tracking tools are established in coordination with organizational strategy; drive alignment to the strategy by cascading and measuring prioritized objectives throughout the organization while supporting the implementation and execution of the strategic plan.

 

Facilitate the establishment of SMART goals associated with the strategic plan and cascade throughout all levels of the organization; develop performance evaluation system to measure results/success.

 

Partner with Finance to incorporate projected outcomes into long-range financial plans and operating budgets.

 

Develop and support system project management capabilities for successful implementation of system strategy.

 

Deliver clear and concise communications, in all forums including meetings, presentations and memorandums.

 

Lead, coach, and facilitate teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of the management system.

 

Deliver effective recommendations to staff, management, executives, and peers within the organization.

 

Interview, select, hire, mentor and retain employees, as appropriate.

 

Develop management system orientation and training for employees, including other management positions.

 

Manage performance of employees; promotes, demotes, or transfers employees to meet organizational needs as necessary.

 

Provide strategic leadership for department.

 

Assist with long range planning efforts and overall direction setting at the departmental level.

 

Responsible for department organizational structure and alignment to meet strategic objectives and forecasted business needs.

 

Responsible for development, implementation, and interpretation of system policies within a major organizational/functional area or the development and review of system policies within a recognized discipline

 

Approves payroll and is responsible for accurate payment of employees, including other management positions

 

Provide project management oversight for major initiatives, system integrations

 

Assures meeting/exceeding of ARH mission and vision, departmental goals.

 

Qualifications

 

Education

 

 

·         Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, management, accounting, or                      related field from an accredited college or university is required; MHA, MBA            or equivalent experience preferred

 

Minimum Work

Experience

 

 

·         5 years functional experience providing financial analysis of health care                 operations required.

 

 

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

 

·         Interpersonal communication, collaboration, problem solving, presentation, training,              excellent follow through organizational and prioritization skills. Advanced knowledge            of Microsoft Office suite and common analytical tools such as Excel and Tableau;                  Project Management experience and PMP Certification preferred
