Overview

We’re searching for a highly qualified Project Coordinator to add to our dedicated project management team.  The ideal candidate will have project management experience and strong skills in work-plan development and progress tracking. 

 

The Project Coordinator will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring our goals of strategic project prioritization is being achieved.

 

A member of the IT Project Management Office (PMO), the Project Coordinator will help maintain our position as an innovative authority by helping to identify opportunities for efficiency, effectiveness and process innovation while analyzing relevant project data and helping with implementing process improvements.

Special Instructions

100% Remote position. Successful project coordinator skills in a healthcare setting, a plus. Five (5) years of Project Management or Five (5) years Project Coordination preferred. Experience in coordinating teams and clients, working with all levels of management. Must have strong written, verbal, and presentation skills and be proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Objectives:

  • Work with project managers and stakeholders to help define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results.
  • Assign roles and tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and abilities.
  • Help build the skill sets of team members and share learnings with other employees.
  • Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement.
  • Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones.
  • Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output.
  • Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels and escalate issues according to project work plan.
  • Serve as point of communication between IT PMO and external resources.
  • Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors and researchers.
  • Willingness to listen and understand the needs of others.
  • Commitment to service excellence.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with use of other Project Management software a plus.
  • Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Technology, Business, Education, Project Management, or related field.

 

Professional Experience:

  • Five (5) years of Project Management experience or Five (5) years Project Coordination / Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
  • Experience in coordinating teams and clients
  • Proven success in a healthcare setting, working with all levels of management.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
