Provides transthoracic and transesophageal scanning of the heart using cardiac ultrasound equipment for the quanitation, diagnosis and follow-up of cardiac diseases.
Performs transthoracic cardiac echo scanning based on the criteria set by the Medical Director utilizing the American
College of Cardiology and American Heart Association guidelines for clinical application of Echocardiography.
Performs transesophageal echoes based on criteria set by the
Medical Director utilizing the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association guidelines for clinical application of Echocardiography.
Performs in all clerical duties, paperwork, and other necessary duties punctually to ensure smooth departmental function and patient care.
Adheres to and follows the principles of ARH's Customer Relation Program.
Demonstrates awareness of and uses opportunities to increase knowledge of self, patients, family and care works
Assists in other areas within the Cardiology department and within the Medical Center as directed.
Performs age specific patient testing demonstrating awareness of safety and care of each age group .
Education :
High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of a Cardiac Ultrasound program or sufficient cardiac ultrasound training to perform job duties. Some of the job training will be provided.
Experience :
Previous experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technician is required.
Management Experience Required :
