Overview

The System Director of Imaging Services Operations is responsible for all areas of Imaging operations include but not limited to: collaboration, policy/procedure/practice standardization, service line strategic planning, facility planning, collaborate with Radiologists and imaging directors on equipment purchases and project plan oversite system wide, manage and develop strong physician relations regarding imaging operations, strategically align with marketing department to drive consistent community and system wide business strategies to enhance market share and improve operational performance, ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, Identify and/or develop opportunities to grow outpatient imaging services in collaboration with imaging directors and CEO’s in their service areas and ensure that all appropriate metrics to measure growth/profitability, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction for the imaging departments are in place and attaining established goals.

Responsibilities

Serves as a resource and provides expertise and support for service line strategic planning.

Facilitates sharing of ideas, strategies, and tactics to achieve targets.

Collaborates with corporate and facility leaders on the hand off and completion of all initiatives.

Provides leadership coaching to the imaging services management.

Manage and develop strong relationships amongst the physicians and staff through operational leadership and ongoing communication.

 

Inform the physicians about current trends, problems and medical activities to facilitate service and operational improvement.

 

Strategically align with the marketing department to drive consistent community and system-wide business strategies to help develop new clinical programs, while expanding on existing programs to enhance market share and improve operational performance.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies. Continually monitor operations, programs, and physical properties. Implement appropriate changes.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor Degree required
  • Master’s Degree (MBA or MHA) or equivalent experience more than 5plus years of leadership experience
  • AART preferable

Minimum Work Experience

• Hospital experience required with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.

 

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Imaging services leadership experience
  • Capable of exhibiting strong leadership presence throughout the organization related to all initiatives
  • Detailed clinical and operations experience
  • Demonstrated teamwork, written and verbal communication and analytical skills
  • Computer skills MS excel and word
  • Contracting and negotiating experience preferred
  • Travel as required.
