Performs ultrasound imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and departmental guidelines. Prepares and transports patients as necessary. Prepares imaging equipment, room, and images, as need for interpretation Verifies and completes studies in RIS and PACS. Maintains Quality Control on Equipment as Instructed.
• Associate's Degree in Sonography from an approved program required; OR
• Associate's Degree in Radiology from an approved program required.
• Up to one (1) year of experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to meet hospital on-call requirements.
• Registered or Registry eligible in Ultrasound, with the requirement to become Registered within eighteen (18) months.
• CPR certification required.
