The Workforce Coordinator within the Workforce Initiatives division plays a vital role in supporting the organization in developing and coordinating strategies that are designed to ensure the sustainability and excellence of our healthcare workforce. This dynamic role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities that may include but are not limited to workforce strategy development, program coordination, partnership development, data tracking and more. This role may operate in a general and/or specialized area within the workforce division. Specialized areas are immigration services and education/advancement program coordination.
• Performs flex duties as assigned.
• Collaborates with the Workforce Executive to create and implement workforce strategies that ensure the sustainability and growth of the healthcare workforce.
• Coordinates workforce-related initiatives and works closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
• Provides marketing support for the department and workforce initiatives as needed.
• Continuously monitors workforce data trends, analyzes labor market conditions, and gathers insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Develops and implements initiatives to keep the healthcare system competitive in the workforce marketplace.
• Engages internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and partnerships that advance workforce development goals.
• Assesses the effectiveness of existing training programs and recommends improvements based on feedback and performance data.
• Collaborates with educational institutions and community partners to develop a healthcare talent pipeline, including internships, apprenticeships, and educational partnerships.
• Maintains accurate records and prepares reports regarding workforce initiatives, outcomes, and program effectiveness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Develops and coordinates engaging and informative career exploration modules for individuals interested in healthcare careers.
• Identifies opportunities to expand job training programs and assists with program development and execution.
• Collaborates with partner colleges on initiatives related to student success and support.
• Collaborates with community stakeholders to connect employees, students, and other participants with available resources.
• Collaborates with community stakeholders to identify and expand resources available for current and future workforce participants.
• Coordinates ARH workforce development and training programs.
• Conducts outreach to students and employees enrolled in ARH-supported programs.
• Identifies, recruits, coordinates, and provides career information to students and employees.
• Assists students and employees in developing employment and training strategies that lead to career-oriented employment.
• Provides outreach, job coaching, and follow-up communication to students and employees.
• Serves as a coach and mentor to potential and current ARH team members by providing resources and support.
• Attends, hosts, and coordinates recruitment activities as assigned.
• Works with local community action agencies to provide resources to students and employees.
• Provides pre-employment and post-employment services to students and employees.
• Provides follow-up services and resources to support retention in training programs and employment.
• Works with local colleges to identify educational and career pathways for students and employees.
• Works closely with Legal to ensure recruitment, selection, employment, and disciplinary procedures comply with all applicable immigration laws and regulations.
• Works closely with Legal to establish and refine communication processes related to immigration documentation and information requirements.
• Serves as a liaison between immigrant employees and Legal regarding documentation and information required for immigration processes.
• Maintains immigration-related information and documentation within electronic databases.
• Communicates regularly with immigrant employees to ensure employee satisfaction and provide updates on immigration processes.
• Provides immigration guidance, communicates available options, and offers appropriate recommendations.
• Works with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are understood and candidates are evaluated appropriately.
• Manages internal hiring and employee-related systems associated with immigration staff.
• Assists in identifying, documenting, and standardizing immigrant recruitment processes to improve efficiency and reduce organizational risk.
• Assists in reviewing and analyzing petitions, applications, and supporting documentation submitted to U.S. government agencies.
• Acts as a concierge for immigrant applicants and employees by assisting with transportation, housing, community orientation, and hospital introductions.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in workforce development or related roles within the healthcare industry required.
• Healthcare-related experience preferred.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate and execute initiatives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulations.
• Marketing experience preferred.
