Provide leadership for the Emergency Departments, Cath Lab, Telemetry, Observation Unit and Critical Care Unit along with other entities within the cardiac service line to promote excellence in cardiac patient care. This position will also assist in the planning, development and implementation of program goals and operations. Coordinates and oversees the ongoing Chest Pain Accreditation to improve care of the cardiac patient population. Work with the local hospitals and EMS teams within the region to help streamline processes set forth by the ACC and AHA guidelines to improve cardiac care.
