The Occupational Therapy Assistant seeks and follows supervision from an occupational therapist in delivery of occupational therapy services and collaborates with the occupational therapist in assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of occupational therapy services and assists in designing and implementing processes to support quality delivery of service.

In addition to the above the RN Exchange Tier 2 can also perform the duties outlined for RN Exchange Tier 3.
The Crisis Response Coordinator role is a temporary SAMHSA Crisis Counseling Assistance and Training Program (CCP) grant funded position in response to the flooding in Eastern Kentucky that occurred in July 2022. The coordinator will be responsible for organizing and tracking resources related to the Kentucky Community Crisis Response Team behavioral health related activities.

- SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Performs basic assigned Laboratory tasks.
Obtains specimens from the patient/donor to perform the testing required by the physician/client.
Prepares the samples for testing/transport, tests samples and reports results/dispatch to the designated
personnel/client.
Maintains all certifications required by the laboratory and performs all duties while maintaining the Standards of the Laboratory, Corporation, Regulatory and Accrediting Agencies.
Proves competent in the laboratory by passing all competency examinations required by the laboratory.
- REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
The Laboratory Assistant reports to Laboratory Administrative Director or designee and does not supervise anyone.
This position has direct contact with patients and other hospital personnel.
