The Home Care Store Manager is accountable for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of the ARH Home Care Store in an efficient and profitable manner.
Responsibilities
Manages the department in an efficient manner by planning, organizing and controlling all activities of the department.
Determines merchandise to be offered for sale and/or rental.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge in the field to allow recommendation of new services, products, and equipment. Maintains an adequate stock of supplies and equipment.
Assures proper security of merchandise and store building.
Formulates pricing policies on merchandise according to requirements for profitability of store operations.
Markets store merchandise and services offered in coverage area.
Displays merchandise in a way to increase sales.
Coordinates sales promotion activities.
Supervises employees engaged in sales, taking of inventory, delivery and pick up of merchandise and ensures compliance with established security, sales, rental, and record keeping procedures and practices.
Determines staffing needs and patterns and recommends appropriate staffing levels and classifications consistent with Home Care Store authorization.
Evaluates the quality and appropriateness of services being provided in the department through an on-going program of quality assurance.
Assures that rental equipment is serviced on a timely basis.
Prepares and maintains required records, reports, and logs on a timely basis.
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
High School Diploma Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field. Preferred
4-6 years four years experience in retail sales and management. Preferred
Responsible for marketing equipment, supplies and services available at the stores.
Responsible for managing the department in an efficient manner by planning, organizing and controlling all activities of the department maintaining harmonious relationship with ARH employees and customers.
Responsible for security of merchandise and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and maintenance of records and reports.
