The Clinic Manager is accountable for the supervision and implementation of methods and procedures involved in operating a doctor’s office or group of doctors’ offices.
Supervises the initiation of billing, posting of daily charges and adjustments to outpatient accounts.
Supervises preparation of daily bank deposits and preparation of daily income register; accounts for clinic cash receipts and deposits with Business Office daily.
Supervises maintenance of clinic records and office expenditures.
Coordinates activities within the clinic and various hospital departments.
Selects, trains, evaluates, and disciplines clinic employees.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Associate degree plus one (1) year experience in the management of a segment of a health care program or, two (2) years experience in a hospital Business Office, one of which should be in a hospital/doctors office and at least one year of supervisory experience.
Basic knowledge of business and clinic procedures.
Ability to work and deal effectively and harmoniously with groups, individuals, and physicians and familiarity with physician's office machines and equipment.
