Overview

The ARH Physician Liaison will enhance the ARH system by providing a personal two-way communication link between ARH and the referring sources. The goal of the ARH Physician Liaison role is to foster positive, professional referral relationships between physicians, nurse practitioners, utilization review, department and case managers, emergency rooms, community organizations and others in the ARH Service Area and beyond. The ARH Physician Liaison will accomplish this by meeting with referral sources and community members throughout the liaison’s designated service area.  The ARH Physician Liaison will inform them about ARH services as well as identify referring sources' needs while gathering feedback to assist ARH with improving services to referring sources.

Responsibilities

  • Work with ARH Marketing Department and VP of Corporate Strategy, ARH Department Managers, ARH Patient Satisfaction Manager, ARH Community CEOs, and ARH Service Line Directors
  • Prepares and presents at appropriate meetings or to ARH Leadership regarding the progress and plans in action
  • Meet with physicians and staff to increase their knowledge about the ARH programs and technology offered through ARH
  • Arrange speaking engagements, lunch and learns, CME’s, and meetings between Providers, appropriate ARH Leadership, Administration, and other referring sources
  • Accompany Providers and Managers to speaking engagements, lunch & learns, CME’s, and networking opportunities throughout their designated service area
  • Meet with referral sources around the region to keep them up to date on:
    • New services
    • Technology available within our system
  • Identify referring sources' needs and gather feedback to help ARH strategically plan and evaluate services and programs
  • Survey referring sources to determine their satisfaction with ARH
  • Assist in generating new educational and marketing materials to community providers announcing the services offered through the liaison program
  • Serve as a personal contact for referring providers to address problems and issues that require attention
  • Assist with the coordination of ongoing ARH outreach efforts and other duties assigned by ARH Leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in sales or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be available to travel 80% of the time. 
  • Individual must be articulate and possess strong written and verbal skills for formal presentations to executive and managerial personnel and professionals.
