Prepares a wide variety of routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food, cleans kitchen area and cooking utensils.
Sets up and serves patient trays in accordance with established schedule and procedures.
Cleans the cooking area and cooking utensils.
Operates dishwasher to ensure all dishes and utensils are clean.
Assures that the cafeteria operates punctually and properly.
Assures that the salad bar is prepared accordingly when assigned.
Assures that desserts are prepared accordingly when assigned.
Prepares, loads, and transport carts to and from floors.
Education:
High school education or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Previous hospital dietary experience in preferred. On the job training will be conducted after employment.
