The Nurse Aide Supervisor will provide supervision, coaching, mentoring, and staff development to all nurse aides and manage the daily activities and coordinate assignments of the nurse aides on each nursing unit.

• Assists in orienting/training new nurse aides through one on one mentoring and demonstrating all nurse aide job duties and responsibilities.
• Develops and leads a formal nurse aide training program.
• Manages daily schedules and assignments for the nurse aides.
• Ensures that the nurse aide team provides excellent patient care and carries out assignments within given time period to enhance overall quality of care.
• Ensures that the nurse aides have adequate supplies/tools to perform their job accurately.
• Acts as a liaison between nursing management and the nurse aide team.
• Evaluates and monitors staff performance and competencies.
• Serves as a key player on the nurse management team.
• May perform other job duties as necessary.

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum three years Certified Nurse Aide experience in an acute care setting.
• 1-3 years supervisory experience highly preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certifications.
