Oversees all departmental health administration needs and requirements as directed by upper management.
Manages a medical recordkeeping system including detailed patient health records, ensuring complete
confidentiality and records security of patient health data as well as doctor notes and recommendations.
Directs Directors, Senior Managers, and occasionally senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, and
is accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching feedback.
Leads area processes for the ER Services unit, and ensures methods align with the overall business strategy.
Participates in the planning and implementation of new technologies, procedures, and services to support day-
to-day operations.
Applies key financial principles and organizational financial targets to departmental projects/budgets.
Interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age-
specific needs and to provide nursing care needed as described in the unit/department’s policies and procedures.
Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process
to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.
Manages operational aspects of their teams (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), as well as
implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.
Creates a purpose driven environment by aligning the organization's mission, vision, and core values of
improving health and promoting well-being with the strategies and goals of the ER Services team.
Associate's Degree Nursing Required
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
RN license required
4-6 years Required
1-3 years Emergency Management experience highly preferred Preferred
