Overview

The position will be responsible for managing property/casualty and auto claims and managing and maintaining online risk management and policy platforms on behalf of the ARH System and its various departments. This role involves collaboration with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of the system and effective handling of claims and policies.

Responsibilities

• Compile reports on claims and risk reconciliation.
• Manage and maintain online risk management platform by addressing errors, updating system users, collaborating with IT to solve system related tickets/requests.
• Manage and maintain online policy platform by uploading new policies, making policy edits, maintaining user accounts, collaborating with IT to solve system related tickets/requests, and provide tutorials on editing, approving, uploading, and retiring policies.
• Manage property/casualty and auto claims and assist with general liability claims.
• Gather underwriting information for policy renewals.
• Coordinate with facilities and accounting teams to maintain schedule of values for all property locations.
• Schedule meetings, prepare meeting minutes for various Risk/Claims related meetings.
• Coordinate the administration of claims with insurance brokers, various claims departments and TPAs; coordinate with other departments and facilities to gather claim related documentation for discovery and related investigations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Legal Officer.

Qualifications


Education
Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced certifications in the areas of claims and/or insurance or paralegal degree preferred.


Minimum Work Experience
Two years training or experience in insurance, claims adjusting, and/or experience in the legal environment required. Related experience in the specific area of healthcare preferred.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills; acute attention to detail.
• Great interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and flexibility, and the ability to interface effectively and engender trust and confidence with personnel internally and externally to ARH.
