Provide specialized massage services to the clientele of the Rejuvenation Center utilizing specific modalities of techniques and treatment.
• Interview clients to determine the required massage method.
• Assess clients' medical history, symptoms, and other relevant information before treatment.
• Prepare massage oil and other equipment.
• Apply proper pressure to clients to avoid injuries and bruising.
• Consult with other health practitioners to provide clients with the best therapy.
• Maintain records of treatments.
• Refer clients to other therapy when necessary.
• Talk with clients about symptoms, medical history, and desired results.
• Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body.
• Manipulate muscles and other soft tissues of the body.
• Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, relaxation techniques, and improving posture.
• Document clients' condition and progress.
• Use touch therapy to treat injuries and promote overall wellness.
• Utilize hands, fingers, forearms, elbows, and, when appropriate, feet to knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.
• Use lotions, oils, massage tables, and massage chairs as appropriate during treatment.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
• Educate clients on relaxation techniques and wellness practices to use between sessions.
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and professional therapeutic environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Must have graduated from an accredited Massage Therapy program.
• Must have a valid license or certification to practice in the state where practice is located.
• Must have passed either the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCETMB) and/or the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx), as well as any examinations required by the state in which the therapist practices.
• Knowledge of multiple massage therapy modalities is preferred, including but not limited to Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Sports Massage.
• One (1) year minimum experience in a medical spa setting preferred.

• Manual Dexterity – The ability to quickly move the hand, hand together with the arm, or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• Multilimb Coordination – The ability to coordinate two or more limbs while sitting, standing, or lying down.
• Speech Recognition – The ability to identify and understand the speech of another person.
• Stamina – The ability to exert physical effort over long periods of time without becoming winded or out of breath.
• Near Vision – The ability to see details at close range.
• Problem Sensitivity – The ability to recognize when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
• Finger Dexterity – The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
