Performs ultrasound imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and departmental guidelines. Prepares
and transports patients as necessary.
Prepares imaging equipment, room, and images, as need for interpretation
Verifies and completes studies in RIS and PACS
Maintains Quality Control on Equipment as Instructed.
Education (experience can be substituted for education)
Associate's Degree Associate Degree in Sonography from approved program
-OR Associate Degree in Radiology from approved program, minimumally Required
Work Experience (education can be substituted for experience)
Up to 1 year Preferred

Basic Computer Skills
Must be able to meet hospital on-call requirements
Licenses and Certifications
Registered or Registry eligible in Ultrasound,
with requirement to become Registered within
18 months Required
