Assists Emergency Department nurse in data entry of triaged patients vital information. This computer link to protocols assists Emergency Department staff communications and evaluation of care practices and patient outcome. Facilitates the smooth running of the nursing unit by performing a broad range of clerical duties: transcribes medical orders, maintains medical records, communicates effectively, and assists in providing a safe and efficient unit.
• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Post high school vocational or specialized training preferred.
• Zero (0) to six (6) months of experience required.
• Six (6) to twelve (12) months of experience preferred.
