The Registered Nurse requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgement and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences in the application of the nursing process in the respective departments in which assigned. The RN must collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members and students.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience preferred.
• Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Critical Care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures and patient care.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to provide safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment.
• Current RN license by the Kentucky Board of Nursing required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
