The Clinical Nurse Manager, working with Nurse Managers, is accountable for the supervision of nursing services for certain assigned nursing units to provide safe, effective and efficient nursing care. This position is an important part of the Management Team and the responsibilities for the position include: assigning, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical care for the assigned unit(s). This position is evaluated on the basis of objective measurable criteria, including maximizing the personal abilities and competence of staff nurses, licensed practical nurses and other personnel assigned to the unit(s) for which the Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible.
Under the guidance of Behavioral Health’s System Director of Inpatient Behavioral Health, the Behavioral Health Safety Coach promotes a safe environment and therapeutic environment for patients across the Service Lines’ operations. This position will lead Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Workforce Violence Prevention trainings for Behavioral Health Staff, review and debrief with staff following behavioral health codes and provide remedial individual and group trainings, as needed.
This management position will oversee all daily activities at the referral call center including but not limited to: oversight and scheduling of call center staff, monitoring call volumes and wait times, developing scripts for referral service representatives, ensuring proper phone etiquette is followed, training of customer service representatives, liaison activities to promote the referral center, handle complaints and the development of monthly reports to determine overall progress and performance of the call center.
