The Physician Office Assistant performs basic medical procedures to assist physician in evaluation and treatment of patients.

The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for the performance of basic assigned Laboratory tasks.
Works under the director supervision of a registered pharmacist, supervisor, and/or the Director of Pharmacy. In accordance to standard procedures and all legal standards the technician duties include but are not limited to: the preparation of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for dispensing; use the computer operating system to generate labels; accurate post charges in the computer system; answer and direct phone calls as appropriate; replace and rotates medication stock in the pharmacy; maintain in-date medication stock; provide miscellaneous departmental support functions; provide quality patient care; make deposits; utilize cash register; file insurance claims and follow ups.
The Medical Assistant is responsible for efficient and courteous registration, transfer and discharge of patients within established policies and procedures; thoroughly compiles and types medical information for patients' records and statistical reports and maintains current and accurate patient account receivables.
The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for the comfort and well-being of patients in accordance with physicians' orders.
Performs technical skills and assists the surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, central sterile and other professionals in the operating room. May Perform similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned.
