Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Operations and in conjunction with department directors/nurse managers the House Director is responsible for personnel management, interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures, staff mix allocation and coordination of bed management  in order to support and enhance patient care. Collaborates with department directors/nurse managers to guide staff/physicians in the process of problem resolution. Serves as an administrative representative in off shifts.

The Staff Nurse is accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.   The Staff Nurse provides clinical supervision to LPNs, Nursing Aides, and Nursing Service Clerks where applicable.

This position will be responsible for contacting, through telephone calls, patients that have been enrolled into the Chronic Care Management program at ARH. During these calls the Medical Assistant will review care plans and properly document further education provided to the patient. The Chronic Care Management program is designed to promote and encourage healthy life styles to patients that have multiple chronic diseases.

The Patient Bed Coordinator is a License Practical Nurse who coordinates patient throughout from all points of entry to facilitate overall hospital patient flow.  This person is responsible for receiving all communication related to patients requiring a bed for appropriate clinical expertise and facility placement to support delivery of quality care.
