The LPN is responsible for performing a wide variety of nursing care, patient activities, and accommodative services for the comfort and well-being of patients in accordance with physicians' orders and under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse.

The Clinical Nurse Manager, working with Nurse Managers, is accountable for the supervision of nursing services for certain assigned nursing units to provide safe, effective and efficient nursing care. This position is an important part of the Management Team and the responsibilities for the position include: assigning, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical care for the assigned unit(s). This position is evaluated on the basis of objective measurable criteria, including maximizing the personal abilities and competence of staff nurses, licensed practical nurses and other personnel assigned to the unit(s) for which the Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible.

Major responsibilities include coordination of the chart abstraction process for inpatient, outpatient, and specialty accreditation programs.
- ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:
The Documentation Specialist evaluates the medical records to ascertain the degree of documentation compliance with State and Federal regulations; and provides consultative services to the medical records staff, physicians, and other pertinent staff.
