The Nurse Extern is accountable for providing nursing assistance and performing basic nursing procedures to groups of patients within an assigned nursing department, under the supervision, guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse. In addition, the Nurse Extern can gain additional clinical practice to enhance their preparation as future licensed nurses.

This Staff Nurse reports to the agency's Nursing Supervisor and/or Director, provides clinical supervision to LPNs and Nursing Assistants and has frequent contact with physicians regarding client care.
The Cardiovascular Cardiographic Interpreter is responsible for monitoring patient's cardiac rhythms accurately and identifying and initiating appropriate actions should ECG pattern change on a monitor screen.

This position will be responsible for contacting, through telephone calls, patients that have been enrolled into the Chronic Care Management program at ARH. During these calls the Medical Assistant will review care plans and properly document further education provided to the patient. The Chronic Care Management program is designed to promote and encourage healthy life styles to patients that have multiple chronic diseases.
