There are three major elements to the coordination role of Swing Bed Coordinator:
- Managerial responsibilities regarding the patient pathway during an episode of care.
- The coordination of services and resources.
- Clinical responsibilities involved in implementing a plan of care intervention.
The Staff Medical Technologist performs clinical tests in one or more areas of specialization depending on the size and scope of laboratory activity.

The Registered Nurse Exchange Tier 2 is able to provided nursing care relief across the ARH system in either of the following: Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Room, Home Health, Labor and Delivery, Level II NBN. RN Exchange Tier 2 requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgement and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences in the application of the nursing process in the respective departments in which assigned. The RN Exchange Tier 2 must collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members and students. In addition to the above the RN Exchange Tier 2 can also perform the duties outlined for RN Exchange Tier 3.

This person is responsible for receiving all communication related to patients requiring a bed for appropriate clinical expertise and facility placement to support delivery of quality care.
The Plumber is responsible for performing tasks that are basically plumbing and pipefitting oriented and are typical of those tasks found in maintenance and/or construction.
