The Supplemental Staffing Team (SST) Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, analyzes, plans, implements and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards for Appalachian Regional Healthcare including those established by the Nurse Practice Act. The primary function of this role, based upon hired tier and float option, is to be available and flexible to float to various departments and/or hospital sites throughout ARH healthcare locations within Kentucky and/or West Virginia. The Clinical Nurse Manager, working with Nurse Managers, is accountable for the supervision of nursing services for certain assigned nursing units to provide safe, effective and efficient nursing care.  This position is an important part of the Management Team and the responsibilities for the position include:  assigning, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical care for the assigned unit(s).  This position is evaluated on the basis of objective measurable criteria, including maximizing the personal abilities and competence of staff nurses, licensed practical nurses and other personnel assigned to the unit(s) for which the Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible.

The Nurse Aide is responsible for performing basic nursing procedures in assisting in the care of patients.

The Nursing Service Clerk is responsible for performing general clerical duties by preparing, compiling, and maintaining records.
