The Clinical Nurse Manager, working with Nurse Managers, is accountable for the supervision of nursing services for certain assigned nursing units to provide safe, effective and efficient nursing care. This position is an important part of the Management Team and the responsibilities for the position include: assigning, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical care for the assigned unit(s). This position is evaluated on the basis of objective measurable criteria, including maximizing the personal abilities and competence of staff nurses, licensed practical nurses and other personnel assigned to the unit(s) for which the Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible.
The Staff Nurse is accountable for interpreting the plan of Medical care, assessment of patients clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.

The successful candidate for this position will work with the Chief Medical Officers (CMO’s), Clinic Managers and Community Chief Nursing Officers of the facilities within their region scheduling, directing and facilitating the delivery of clinically appropriate placements of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) and Midline insertion. The candidate will be responsibile for Harlan, Barbourville and Middlesboro.
