The Medical Assistant is responsible for efficient and courteous registration, transfer and discharge of patients within established policies and procedures; thoroughly compiles and types medical information for patients' records and statistical reports and maintains current and accurate patient account receivables.

The Polysomnographer Technologist works under the general supervision of the Director of Respiratory or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic serves or patient care and education.

- SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Performs basic assigned Laboratory tasks.
Obtains specimens from the patient/donor to perform the testing required by the physician/client.
Prepares the samples for testing/transport, tests samples and reports results/dispatch to the designated
personnel/client.
Maintains all certifications required by the laboratory and performs all duties while maintaining the Standards of the Laboratory, Corporation, Regulatory and Accrediting Agencies.
Proves competent in the laboratory by passing all competency examinations required by the laboratory.
- REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
The Laboratory Assistant reports to Laboratory Administrative Director or designee and does not supervise anyone.
This position has direct contact with patients and other hospital personnel.
The Nurse Aide is responsible for performing basic nursing procedures in assisting in the care of patients.
The Personal Care Assistant is primarily responsible for observing patients and providing assistance in personal care.
The Certified Pharmacy Technician is responsible for performing technical supportive assistance within the pharmacy and assists in the outpatient and inpatient drug distribution system, the preparation of sterile products, drug therapy related research, including the supply function involved with controlled substances, including scheduled II drugs and tax free alcohol

The Operating Room Technician is responsible for performing a variety of duties in the Operating Room to assist the surgical team and to assist the nursing team on the hospital floors.

Sets up tables, instruments and supplies required for specific operation. Carries out surgical asepsis.
Assists surgical team during operative procedure.
Assists in the preparation for surgical procedures.
Assists in the preoperative preparation of patients.
Assists with table equipment, positioning of patients, application of plaster casts and dressings.
Prepares operative specimens, places in preservative solution and delivers to Laboratory for analysis.
Assists in transporting patients to and from the Operating Room, Recovery Room, and patient area.
Assists in cleaning operating room, equipment and instruments following surgery.
Cleans and stocks storage room.
Prepares Operating Room for the next case or next day.
Records data on patients' record data sheets and O.R. logs.
Must rotate on call as required.
Performs duties of Nursing Aide as requested, when O.R. is not busy.
