Under the direction of the Director of Behavioral Health and in conjunction with department directors/nurse managers the Psychiatric House Director is responsible for personnel management, interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures, staff mix allocation and coordination of bed management in order to support and enhance patient care. Collaborates with House Directors and department directors/nurse managers to guide behavioral health staff/physicians in the process of problem resolution. Serves as an administrative representative in off shifts. Will work with House Directors to improve overall flow and process of psych services.

Prepares the samples for testing/transport, test samples, and reports results/dispatch to the designated personnel/client. The Peer Recovery Coach provides non-clinical services intended to aid patients in establishing recovery from high risk of dependent alcohol and drug use problems. The Peer Recovery Coach will work as part of the Emergency Department team/or designated area to provide peer support and motivation to encourage patients who are seeking treatment for alcohol or drug dependency and addiction issues. The Peer Recovery Coach will assist in completing referrals to treatment services and developing service plans to promote successful linkage to treatment services. Services will be provided in the Emergency Department/or designated area with appropriate follow-up.
