Under general supervision, the Clinic Billing and Follow-Up Specialist handles essential billing and insurance follow-up functions. This role requires a fundamental understanding of insurance claim processing, knowledge of HCFA claim forms, and the ability to interpret insurance explanation of benefits (EOBs), handle denials, and perform follow-up with insurers to ensure claims resolution. The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing quality pharmaceutical care/services to patients and health care professionals at any ARH or affiliated unit as assigned.  Responsible for properly assessing patients’ pharmaceutical needs and providing pharmaceutical care.  Responsible for the accurate and proper compounding and dispensing of prescribed medications and solutions.  Responsible for the proper inventory and record keeping of medications.  Responsible for properly counseling patients/patients’ families, and appropriate health care professionals regarding drug therapy.

To perform case management and other discharge planning needs for transition of individuals from the acute care of hospitalization into the community. This position also works to ensure continuity of care between in-patient and out-patient levels of care, including placement allocation, resource management, and arranging on-going treatment needs.
