The Nurse Extern Tier II is accountable for providing nursing assistance and performing basic nursing procedures to groups of patients within an assigned nursing department, under the supervision, guidance,
and direction of a Registered Nurse who may delegate subversion to other Team Member such as; Licensed Practical Nurse and/or State Registered Nursing Assistant. In addition, the Nurse Extern can gain additional clinical practice to enhance their preparation as future licensed nurses
- Performs basic assigned laboratory tasks.
- Obtains specimens from the patient/donor to perform the testing required by the physician/client.
- Prepares the samples for testing/transport, test samples, and reports results/dispatch to the designated personnel/client.
- Maintains all certifications required by the laboratory and performs all duties while maintaining the Standards of the Laboratory, Corporation, Regulatory and Accrediting Agencies.
- Proves competent in the laboratory by passing all competency examinations required by the laboratory.
- Phlebotomist reports to the Laboratory Administrative Director or designee and does not supervise anyone.
- This position has direct contact with patients and other hospital personnel.

This position is evaluated on the basis of objective measurable criteria, including maximizing the personal abilities and competence of staff nurses, licensed practical nurses and other personnel assigned to the unit(s) for which the Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible.
The Speech-Language Pathologist is accountable for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with communication disorders.
The Kitchen & Cafeteria Worker is responsible for performing duties relevant to operating the dishwashing machine, transporting dishes, food item preparation, patient meal service, cafeteria customer service, and cleaning of the preparation and service area.
The Staff Physical Therapist is accountable for conducting and supervising physical therapy programs to enable the patient to reach the maximum physical performance possible, prevent disability and to teach the patient, family, and significant others to function within the scope of any permanent physical disability.
The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for performing duties involving the taking of radiographs and fluoroscopic examinations of various portions of the body.
The Staff Medical Technologist performs clinical tests in one or more areas of specialization depending on the size and scope of laboratory activity.
Performs technical skills and assists the surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, central sterile and other professionals in the operating room. May Perform similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned.
