measuring, assessing and improving its performance. Directs Performance and Process as well as regulatory
activities. The Director of Quality Improvement provides coordinates with hospital administration, department
directors, and managers to assure compliance with DNV, HCFA, State Licensure Board and other governmental
or accredited agencies.
To perform case management and other discharge planning needs for transition of individuals from the acute care of hospitalization into the community. This position also works to ensure continuity of care between in-patient and out-patient levels of care, including placement allocation, resource management, and arranging on-going treatment needs.

The Staff Nurse is accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.
The Staff Nurse provides clinical supervision to LPNs, Nursing Aides, and Nursing Service Clerks where applicable.
