The Program Director is responsible for the efficient and successful functioning of the program. These duties can be broken down into four major areas of responsibility: Clinical Management, Unit Management, Contract Management/Hospital Relations, and Utilization Management. The Program Director provides for the implementation of the therapeutic program to meet Hospital Standards, directs and coordinates the activities of staff to ensure quality client care, supervises unit staff, incorporates financial accountability into unit activities, and demonstrates the highest level of professionalism.

Planner is in frequent contact with patients, patient's family, physicians, nurses, chaplains, community and health

The Staff Dietitian is accountable for the scientific planning and preparing of diets, performance of educational training and nutritional consultation with patients, hospital staff and outside agencies as well as assigned management duties.
The Medical Assistant is responsible for efficient and courteous registration, transfer and discharge of patients within established policies and procedures; thoroughly compiles and types medical information for patients' records and statistical reports and maintains current and accurate patient account receivables.

Provides the services of an Observer for any patient on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require constant observation in order to maximize his/her safety. sterile processing operations across the multi-hospital Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) system to
ensure safe, efficient, and standardized instrument reprocessing practices for the perioperative setting. This
role provides system-wide leadership and oversight, working under the direction of the General Surgery
Service Line Director to promote best practices, enhance quality, and ensure compliance with all applicable
regulatory and accreditation standards.
