The Secretary is responsible for the performance of clerical and administrative duties for designated management personnel.

- SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Performs basic assigned Laboratory tasks.
Obtains specimens from the patient/donor to perform the testing required by the physician/client.
Prepares the samples for testing/transport, tests samples and reports results/dispatch to the designated
personnel/client.
Maintains all certifications required by the laboratory and performs all duties while maintaining the Standards of the Laboratory, Corporation, Regulatory and Accrediting Agencies.
Proves competent in the laboratory by passing all competency examinations required by the laboratory.
- REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
The Laboratory Assistant reports to Laboratory Administrative Director or designee and does not supervise anyone.
This position has direct contact with patients and other hospital personnel.
ED Registration Supervisor will provide administrative/clerical support and coordination of registration
department. The ED Registration Supervisor will work closely with all staff including physicians. Will monitor
charges, expenses, maintain database, authorizations and will assist with budget providing information to the
admissions supervisor. The ED Registration Supervisor will report to the admissions supervisor. This position
has frequent contact with physicians, patients, and hospital staff.

The Patient Services Advocate functions in a patient communication role. Facilitates patient access to care throughout the registration, scheduling, and communicative processes. The Admissions Clerk is responsible for efficient and courteous registration, transfer, and discharge of patients.
The EVS/Maintenance Coordinator coordinates the daily activities of the hospital Environmental Services (EVS) and Facilities/Maintenance departments. Prioritizes, coordinates, and assigns work through verbal instructions/directions, hospital work requests, and, as requested, coordinates activity to ensure proper cleaning, installation, repairs, and maintenance of the facility and organization’s properties. Monitors daily, routine, and preventative maintenance activities to ensure utilities, environmental systems and other building systems operate properly and efficiently. Maintains documentation, records, office documents, prints, certificates, licenses, communications, and other information critical to the organization’s operations. Assists in assigning work schedules and duty lists to department personnel.
Responsible for accurate record keeping and maintenance of payroll, purchasing, scheduling, and other office functions. Occasional off-site travel may be required. Mileage is to be recorded and submitted for approval within the pay-period.
