Responsible for coordinating with insurance providers for verification, pre-certification, pre-authorizations, and pre-determination for medical procedures within respective or designated service lines in the ARH System. Completes benefits review and prior authorizations as required by all payers for scheduled services. The Preauthorization Coordinator interfaces with clinical staff, payer representatives, and patients, daily, to review scheduled services and to ensure complete and accurate information is documented. This role completes necessary clinical review for prior authorizations as required by governmental and commercial payers, satisfying maximum net revenues and minimum avoidable losses for authorizations.

IT EDU Solutions team lead is responsibility for coordinating their resources to contribute to the assessment, development, delivery, and coordination of technology training through their regional teams. The goal is to create, maintain and deliver standardized training materials through various methods to assure optimization of the electronic health record. The IT EDU solutions team may participate in workflow development and testing of new and updated workflows. Works closely with IT leadership and application teams to develop training content and have a thorough understanding of the workflows. Works closely with the Learning Management System administrator to provide oversight of the training rooms, schedule, and the equipment. Proactively monitors key workflows to improve documentation, quality of care and patient safety.
