To perform case management and other discharge planning needs for transition of individuals from the acute care of hospitalization into the community. Under the direct supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, performs a variety of cleaning duties for the hospital, clinic, and/or office, including walls, floors, equipment, bath areas, furniture, ceilings, elevators, staircases, windows and blinds, restrooms, vents, light fixtures using universal precautions and appropriate equipment. Responsible to maintain confidential patient information.

The Kitchen & Cafeteria Worker is responsible for performing duties relevant to operating the dishwashing machine, transporting dishes, food item preparation, patient meal service, cafeteria customer service, and cleaning of the preparation and service area.

The Physician Office Assistant performs basic medical procedures to assist physician in evaluation and treatment of patients.

The Financial Counselor is responsible to provide financial assistance to patients with an inability to pay for services rendered.  The incumbent is also, responsible to complete payment arrangements for unpaid balances not covered at discharge.
