business units along each domain of the “Triple Aim” (patient safety and quality, service, and financial performance):
Developing, nurturing and improving a safe and cost-effective clinical culture that produces predictable patient
outcomes;
Developing, nurturing and improving a service culture that supports and engages employees, medical staff, patients
and the community; and
Developing, nurturing and improving a cost-effective operating culture that achieves established objectives.

The Workforce Coordinator within the Workforce Initiatives division plays a vital role in supporting the
organization in developing and coordinating strategies that are designed to ensure the sustainability and
excellence of our healthcare workforce. This dynamic role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities that
may include but are not limited to workforce strategy development, program coordination, partnership
development, data tracking and more.
This role may operate in a general and/or specialized area within the workforce division. Specialized areas
are immigration services and education/advancement program coordination.
The Clinical Coder is responsible and accountable for reviewing medical record documentation and assigning codes for reimbursement and statistical purposes.
Educate hospital professional and non-professional staff regarding ARH’s services and programs. Facilitates communication between ARH and physicians in an inpatient setting. Manages the development, implementation, monitoring, and planning and supervision of strategies to increase referrals. Assists with referrals to any ARH service. Provides oversight/case management of hospitalized ARH patients. Reports to the AVP Marketing Manager.

The Regional Finance Director serves as the primary finance point of contact for of an assigned region, associated department(s) and business unit(s), providing direct and proactive support with budget development, operational performance analyses, strategic financial analyses and business case/capital proforma development. The Regional Finance Director reports to ARH Finance leadership, but has accountabilities to the operations leaders within the region and/or assigned entities (inclusive of, but not limited to regional CMO’s, CEO’s and other operations leadership as well as the ARH executive team). It is general practice that the Regional Finance Director has assignments that are more complex and/or higher volume, serving regional markets, facilities and departments with finances while being a liaison to other finance related subject matter experts. The Regional Finance Director serves as finance leader, consultant, and educator, liaison and represents finance at meetings or on teams and committees. Individuals in this role must be able to effectively prioritize and communicate while providing guidance and education to other staff members regarding complex financial matters.
The Network Coordinator is accountable for the proper installation and maintenance of the ARH computer network equipment and peripherals.
Responsible for the supporting the day-to-day end users needs for user provisioning within the Meditech environment, including initial account setup, deprovisioning, and user role setup and changes.
The Desktop Architect will serve as the subject matter expert for the design, implementation, and sustainability of the end-user computing platforms for desktops, laptops, and tablets for ARH. This individual will play a leading part in workplace transformation and deployment projects and work with IT leadership to define and implement the end-user computing vision and strategy through collaboration with technical and business partners.

programs, and contribute to the overall cultural enhancement of the system. Your responsibilities include
delivering leadership training, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and collaborating with varied team
members and subject matter experts to meet organizational goals. This position requires expertise in curriculum
development, organizational growth, and healthcare sector knowledge and will make a lasting impact on our

The ARH System Volunteer Director will provide oversite and coordination to Appalachian Regional Healthcare’s volunteer programs across the 14 hospital system. The System Volunteer Director will be responsible for working directly with facility CEO’s in standardizing and expanding the volunteer programs across the system, as well as developing standard guidelines and programs.
The Hospital Health Records Analyst is responsible for compiling specific patient care data for use in
establishing standards for measuring the quality of medical care.
The Chief Operating Officer is accountable for the effective operation, administration
and evaluation of all hospital services, operations and facilities management, new systems and programs
which ensure the highest level of quality service is provided to patients and employees.

To perform the process of provider and group enrollment for the ARH system to include but not be limited to
individual providers, clinics and hospitals.
The Associate Project Manager will provide project management support to assigned projects within the organization. The APM initiates, plans, develops, executes, and manages project timelines, conducts problem assessments, ensures efficient project implementation, and reports on project performance in conjunction with project sponsors.
Expertise in the use of project management tools, facilitation, group processes and critical thinking is essential. The APM works to ensure maximum effectiveness of resources, quality, change, integration, cost, and scope management using effective communications techniques.
As a member of the Design and Construction team, the APM works across the organization through workgroups and cross-functional teams.
The APM identifies opportunities for efficiency, effectiveness and process innovation while analyzing relevant project data and implementing process improvements.
The Business Manager – Operating Room provides administrative/clerical support and coordination of the Operating Room Department. This position requires working closely with all staff including physicians. Monitors charges and expenses, maintains database, tracks clinical income by staff and assists with budget providing information to the Nurse Manager.
