The Primary Therapist provides quality and organized psychotherapy for identified clients and families, with special emphasis on treatment and discharge planning needs. He/She maintains accurate and up-to-date knowledge of all relevant regulations and standards regarding the provision of services and of the implementation of treatment and discharge planning. They demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of performance.

The Director of Behavioral Health Pharmacy is responsible for providing and coordinating optimal medication therapy management for behavioral health patients throughout the ARH system. They will provide direct patient care for behavioral health patients through multidisciplinary rounding and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. They are responsible for the development, refinement, and supervision of programs and initiatives to improve appropriate medication therapy use, safety, and cost in the behavioral health setting.
The Director of Social Services and Treatment Mall Services is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Kentucky Inpatient Behavioral Health Social Services (social work, case management, discharge planning and legal liaison services) as well as the Hazard Psych Center’s Recovery Mall.
The Recovery Mall compromises treatment modalities spanning behavioral health, rehabilitative and recreational services, and is designed to help patients change, grow, and recover from the effects of mental illness and substance abuse in an activity-filled environment that does not feel like a hospital. Treatment Malls include: A Resource Center, Leisure Center, Consumer Center, Learning Center, and the Skills Center. Unit and Recovery Mall programming include: social and leisure skills improvement, educational programs geared toward recovery, and a job skills training program.
The ARH Assistant System Director of Behavioral Health – Behavioral Health Nursing, is responsible for advising and leading the Behavioral Health Service Line’s inpatient Behavioral Health nursing programming and operations.
